Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Manager, School Based Services to add to our team of professionals. The Clinical Managers ensure the provision of quality care to clients and the adherence to Southwestern policies and procedures and to Federal and State rules and regulations. This leadership position requires the ability to serve in a capacity of manager, facilitator, coach, and trainer.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Manage direct service staff and monitor the quality of services they provide through chart reviews, record management, and supervision meetings.
Manage clinical and administrative processes related to program admissions, program scheduling and utilization of services.
Assure full and appropriate utilization of School Based Mental Health resources within the limit of assuring access for appropriate referrals from the school corporations.
Provide on-call clinical backup for line staff outside the normal working hours.
Provide direction to team leads in the supervision and training of direct service staff.
Perform annual reviews of all staff supervised and provide ongoing feedback regarding performance.
Maintain cooperative relationships with the school corporations.
Interview prospective staff and provide a comprehensive orientation to new staff members.
Coordinate and communicate physical needs of the program through established channels.
Maintain all administrative records required by Southwestern.
Prepare written reports on the delivery of services to include assessment of program goals and objectives as well as future goals and objectives.
Attend and effectively participate in management meetings, as scheduled.
Communicate with Director regarding program needs, issues, and staff concerns.
Provide consultation and education activities to community and professional groups regarding services offered at Southwestern and other clinical issues.
Supervise and train students, as appropriate.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
Master’s degree in human services and prior supervisory experience. LCSW required.
Minimum of five years of clinical experience serving Severely Emotionally Disturbed children and their families.
Must have demonstrated excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
Must obtain and maintain Welle training.
