Mental Health Assistant Director needed for a permanent opportunity with Yoh's client located in Red Bluff, CA!
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- LCSW, LMFT or Clinical Psychologist required
- Previous experience in a mental health setting
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide supervision to the Mental Health Division
- Serve as the Division Director during the Mental Health Director's absence
- Manage staff, facilities, budgets, and interaction with the community
- Manage and direct the daily activities of the Division through appropriate delegation, managerial support, and work supervision
- Assess County mental health service needs; plan, implement and supervise mental health services and programs to meet such needs
- Assist in establishing agency goals, policies and procedures in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; evaluate new laws and their potential impact on the County
- Design, implement, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical, outreach and special service programs
- Provide oversight and direction to mental health services for outpatient, acute hospital units, long-term locked care and psychiatric skilled nursing facilities
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - LCSW - or a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist - LMFT - or a Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in a mental health setting including three (3) years of supervisory experience
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Must complete periodic continuing education coursework as required to maintain active licensure
- Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a national provider identifier (NPI)
- Requires a valid California driver's license
