Position Function:
Provide technical support for residential operators.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
A successful Residential Technical Support Representative I candidate will assist our customer base by providing technical solutions, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair and application assistance of residential operators via telephone support. Candidate will also provide this support to district sales managers as needed. Candidate will also be responsible for other duties in the daily functioning of the department. Candidate should be prepared for light travel to assist with field service calls or training seminars if needed.
Other Responsibilities:
As determined by department manager/director to support daily functioning of department.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
1-2 years experience is installing and/or troubleshooting residential door operators is a plus.
Experience in a customer service environment helpful but not required.
Strong Communication and computer skills are a must.
Knowledge and skill of basic hand tolls is a plus.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma (or GED) required.
Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
If needed, should be capable of lifting 40 to 60 pounds.
