POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

Join CIRCOR and be a part of overseeing and directing operations for world class manufacturing plants. You will ensure the achievement of metrics (Safety, Quality, Inventory, Delivery, Cost, and so on) in the CIRCOR Naval Solutions and Portland Valves business units. You will manage a team that supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. You will leverage your team's experience and skills to perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management systems, material management, equipment and facilities engineering, and process reengineering.

Principal Activities


  • SIOP development and execution

  • Operations strategic planning development and execution

  • Own SQDIP and financials

  • Drive CIRCOR Operating System (COS)

  • Develop a capable team of operations, quality, and supply chain leaders

  • Drive technical advances

  • Cost improvement review

  • Capital planning

  • Ensure on-time delivery of product

  • Promote a Safety Culture; ensure a safe work environment and cultivate safe behavior





Job Requirements


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Superior knowledge of lean, six sigma tools and problem solving methodology

  • Extensive manufacturing experience in a fast paced environment

  • Supply Chain management experience

  • Excellent analytical skills with an understanding of P&L, annual budget, forecasts, and monthly financial summaries

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Fosters teamwork and diversity

  • Displays integrity and humility

  • Quick response and proactive mindset to drive results

  • Ability to drive change, and influence/mentor others

  • Able to build strong networks and relationships of trust both vertically and horizontally in the organization

Education & Experience


  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a key Operations or Business leadership role

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree a plus
