Job Description:

Provides Manufacturing with technical support to improve processes and maximize productivity. Conducts technical training and development of manufacturing personnel. Assist Plant Manager in developing, instructing and supervising manufacturing supervisory/management staff to improve their effectiveness:

Takes the lead in the installation, setup and programming of new injection molding machines, robots and other manufacturing equipment.
Creates new programming, tooling and setups to automate manufacturing processes.
Works with molding room staff to identify root causes of production and quality problems and to coordinate corrective repairs/maintenance.
Develops and conducts training and technical development of manufacturing personnel.
Works with manufacturing staff to develop and adhere to effective maintenance practices.
Works with the Plant Manager to develop and motivate supervisory and management personnel and to improve their skills and effectiveness.
Seeks to foster open communications among all levels of employees.
Seeks ways to improve plant operations and efficiency.
Always puts safety first in configuring equipment and in the development of manufacturing training and procedures.
