Your Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate at John Deere's Waratah Forestry Attachments in Kelso, Washington, you will maintain inventory controls including locating and creating bin locations and ensuring the correct parts and quantities are received and shipped. In addition you will:

• Conduct weekly cycle counts for inventory
• Correctly identify and label incoming freight from vendors and dealers
• Identify damaged, lost, missing parts or unsaleable condition and notify the vendor/dealer
• Pull and pack all orders accurately and in an orderly manner
• Ship and receive whole goods insuring they are complete and undamaged
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of shipping address in UPS (United Parcel Service) and LTL (less than truckload) databases
• Fill out all shipping documentation including shipping labels, bill of ladings and export documents
• Load and unload inventory for trucks and containers

What Skills You Need

• Three or more years' warehousing experience with materials management, transportation, shipping and receiving
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions independently
• Ability to learn and use company specific systems and programs
• Forklift experience with certification
• Self-starter with mechanical aptitude

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience in dealership environment with some parts background
• Knowledge of UPS and FedEx databases
• Knowledge of export requirements
• Work experience in a team environment

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• High School or secondary diploma or equivalent related work experience
• Forklift certification
