If you are looking for a challenging career in the manufacturing industry, Danfoss has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Lab Technicianto join our team! The Lab Technician is responsible for the testing and the validation of SVS products and systems related to prove or disapprove a symptom, theory, hypothesis, or scientific experimentation to validate a new, existing, or returned product.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Primary duties will be maintaining the electrical equipment used in the engineering lab.


• Secondary duties will be supporting testing and validation of various of hydraulic valves for internal and external customers


• Demonstrate a commitment to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area by following safety regulations and actively contributes to work safety


• Presentation of data through completion of technical reports (with oversight).


• Maintenance and ordering of lab consumables, within budget


• Maintain a 5S state of laboratory


• Promote quality and continuous improvement philosophy in all activities. Respond with commitment and sensitivity toward satisfying the needs of internal and external customers.


• Maintain a cooperative and productive working relationships and communications with all employees, participating effectively as a team member. Encourages and assists in self-improvement.


• Evaluates situations objectively and demonstrates the ability to make timely decisions that are intended to have a positive effect on work performance.


• Organizes and prioritizes work assignments to complete assignments/tasks on time, with quality, and has the ability to anticipate problem areas in advance. Apply creative approaches and ideas to solve problems maximizing effective use of appropriate resources.


• Demonstrates flexibility in approach and ideas; responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility, and assignments.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Associate'sdegree in Electronics or ElectricalEngineering is strongly preferred.


• At minimum 6 months of electrical controller or electronics experince is required.


• Basic programming background is a plus.


• Hydraulc testing experience is preferred.


• Must have good communication and organizationskills.


• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.


• Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude.


• Must be up for a daily challenge with a desire for continous learning
