The PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington.

A Systems Software Testing Specialist/Engineer in the Mount Vernon, WA area is available. A Bachelors' degree with a minimum of two years of experience is preferred for this position. You will be testing vehicle software systems.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

*Perform vehicle and engine diagnostic software testing using test benches, simulators, and trucks.

*Ability to perform all functions of SDLC, including requirements analysis design, development, and quality assurance.

*Strong ability to peer-review technical artifacts against standards.

*Collaborate with teams to provide solutions to meet strategic and tactical business needs.

*Perform job duties as assigned by the manager or technical lead.

Qualifications and Skills

*Two to four years required in hardware and software testing.

*Test automation skills.

*Ability to write and understand MS-DOS batch files.

*C# test automation and scripting skills.

*Good communication skills.

*Excellent troubleshooting skills.

*Highly self-motivated.

*Able to work effectively in a team environment with little or no supervision.

*HP Quality Center knowledge.

*Ranorex knowledge.

*Selenium knowledge.

*Git knowledge.

*TestStand/VeriStand knowledge.

*Programming knowledge/skills.

*Strong knowledge of software delivery methodologies.

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

*Demonstrated strong leadership skills.

*Strong understanding of business process, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

*Develop and produce business and IT requirement documents including necessary flow diagrams.

Education

Associates Degree in related field required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
