Are you a marketing automation guru with a passion for evaluating, implementing and managing marketing technology systems to achieve operational excellence? We are currently hiring a Marketing Operations Specialist for our Utilities and Public Administration (U&PA) business. Trimble U&PA provides digital asset and infrastructure lifecycle management solutions for electric, gas and water utilities and local governments.

In this role, you will be responsible for making sure that Trimble U&PA runs an efficient, data-driven, and process-oriented marketing function. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our marketing tech stack and database, marketing automation execution and strategy, and deliver marketing performance reporting and analysis. You'll work closely with marketing team members, sales operations, and key functional leaders to drive initiatives that achieve overall demand generation, engagement and revenue goals.

This position will be essential to helping streamline our Marketing processes with the U&PA division. The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, always looking for ways to take operational excellence to the next level, and a strong team player who takes great pride in the quality, precision, and measurable results of his/her work.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, implement, and manage new marketing technologies to improve our marketing performance while managing our existing marketing technology stack




• Lead our marketing analytics function- measure existing KPIs, pull out actionable insights, and build/maintain marketing dashboards/reports that illustrate progress against goals




• Manage database hygiene and optimization; develop/execute strategy for monitoring and improving gaps in data health and marketing automation performance ensuring an airtight lead process from inquiry to closed business




• Implement and optimize lead/account scoring and routing (behavioral, firmographic) and lead/account routing methodologies to ensure highest quality leads are passed and prioritized appropriately for qualification




• Establish marketing automation architecture governance for efficient, scalable and best-in-class marketing programs and campaigns.




• Oversee marketing automation adoption including campaigns, programs, nurture programs, and customer communications




• Troubleshoot and QA campaigns, workflows, data issues and other key marketing operations functions




• Remain current on MarTech best practices and tools that drive higher performance and optimization.




• Optimize email deliverability and ensure emails are compliant in following industry policies, CAN-SPAM regulations, and best practices to adhere to email marketing and deliverability standards.




• Manage and track policies and processes related to Data Protection to ensure operational compliance with global regulations

• Document marketing technology processes and solutions to ensure data consistency, transparency, and integrity

Background Required:

• Proven track record in a fast-paced environment and comfort with a swiftly changing landscape




• Advanced proficiency with Marketo, Pardot or equivalent




• HTML knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic HTML errors with a focus on emails and landing pages




• Advanced knowledge of email deliverability and email best practices




• Ability to work with campaign managers and sales to identify, troubleshoot and remediate any marketing automation issues




• Strong project management skills and ability to work on many projects simultaneously




• Experience with various technology platforms (Salesforce, DOMO, WebEx)
