JOB PURPOSE

The employee service representative is responsible for engaging with all employees on behalf of Seaboard Foods. This position is one of the first lines of contact and support for our employees and therefore must be fully knowledgeable and informed of all Company policies, procedures, and events, to be an accurate source of information. To perform in this role at the highest level, the employee service representative must be able to use tact, remain calm when employees are frustrated to resolve questions to ensure the employee feels supported and listened too. Above all, the employee service representative strives to be a culture carrier, working daily to ensure all employees have a great experience at work every single day.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Ability to communicate with a high level of attention to detail, prioritizing and building strong employee relationships with a diverse employee base.
• Work with limited supervision to answer questions and concerns of the employee base.
• Handle routine questions and requests from employees during designated times. Ensure questions and requests are completed and followed up on timely while executing excellent service.
• Gather feedback and preferences from employees to assist with the development of employee engagement and retention strategies.
• Use excellent communication skills with employees including verbal, written and body language.
• Must possess a customer service attitude including a sense of urgency, enthusiasm and passion for the position.
• Maintains complete confidentiality of all employee communication and interactions.
• Maintains professional and effective relationships with all levels of management.
• Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned by supervisor. May occasionally work overtime and weekends as required by departmental needs and upon approval of the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate degree preferred or college level courses in the field of human resources, business administration or related field.
• One year or more experience in a customer service industry i.e. restaurant, retail etc.
• Experience with high-volume and a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be resourceful, self-sufficient, and able to perform work with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
