Your Impact:

PGIM Real Estate’s Agency team is seeking a Senior Associate to assist in navigating individual transactions through the sizing, pricing and application process. The Senior Associate provides support to the Deal Managers in reviewing, structuring, and pricing new transactions. S/he will have strong knowledge of agency requirements, processes and forms for sizing and pricing transactions and will serve as a primary mentor and participate in training of new analysts. The Senior Associate position can either be located in Virginia, Chicago or Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide support to origination staff on Agency requirements and deal structuring; initial point of contact for origination staff for assigned transactions.




• Position supports the Deal Manager and provides thoughtful and articulate recommendations to the Deal Manager on sizing, structuring and pricing individual transactions to win new business. 




• Possess and apply solid knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac policies and procedures.




• Prepare, review and recommend quality quote requests within 24 - 48 hours of screening, with support from assigned Analysts.




• Assess issues and provide recommendations on intelligent risk solutions aligned with PMCC and Agency program requirements and guidelines.




• Coordinate between origination, assigned Deal Manager, underwriting and the agencies when structuring issues arise at origination.




• Review Agency response letters for accuracy.




• Prepare and/or review Loan Applications for signature.




• Responsible for handoff from Origination to Underwriting for assigned transactions.




• Assist in managing analytical staff assignments to assure timing expectations are met and accuracy of information.




• Mentoring and training of Origination Analysts required.

Your Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree required




• 4+ of experience in underwriting, structuring and/or pricing transactions




• Solid product knowledge of Agency financing




• Excellent interpersonal skills




• Solid technical underwriting/analytical skills, along with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.




• Critical thinking skills essential, with the ability to make timely decisions, when appropriate.




• Excellent time management skills; ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize.




• A leader and team player, candidate must work well in a multi-functional collaborative environment and demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to customer service.




• Strong verbal and written skills are essential.




• Ability to manage workflow of multiple transactions and individuals.




• Desire and ability to train, mentor and motivate team members.




• Ability to travel as needed.
