Job Description:

We are looking for someone to join our team full-time, who is a great communicator, disciplined, dynamic, and creative. Rolling Hills Country Club is a premier country club in the South Bay with multiple food and beverage concepts on one property.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining the customer service standards; menu selections, purchasing, promotion, and overall guest/member satisfaction; managing dining staff; and staff education.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist with the interviewing, hiring, training, development, and retention of qualified servers, hosts, bus staff and food runners.
Identify, address and document individual employee performance problems according to standard operation procedure.
Assist with the scheduling, conducting, and documentation of employee performance reviews according to standard operating procedure.
Interact with, direct, and supervise employees daily in a fair, dignified manner.
Assist with identifying, training, and developing key employees for growth, advancement, and promotion.
Promote teamwork among co-workers and employees.
Maintain pre-determined service standards and side work lists.
Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts.
Be knowledgeable of all menu items.
Attend wine and beverage seminars on a regular basis.
Organize and conduct periodic informational seminars/tastings for employees.
Provide accountability for any comped or voided items.
Assist servers and cocktail servers with selling, opening, and serving wine/cocktails.
Assist Maitre d'/host with greeting and seating of guests if needed.
Be hands on with all Front of House positions to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Communicate repair and maintenance needs to Food & Beverage Director and/or appropriate repair source.
Move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven and slick surfaces.
Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
Understand and maintain side work as assigned areas.
