The Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development, management and execution of Genie’s Ecommerce business strategy (sales and marketing) effectively driving and growing sales for our direct E-tail partners and two-step E-tail partners. Scope of the position includes, but not limited to:
Amazon
Genie B2C site (Shopify)
Walmart.com
HomeDepot.com
Lowes.com
Menards.com
Other approved ecommerce sites (New Egg, Etsy, etc.)
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the online sales channel
Drive Ecommerce marketing strategy, tactical planning, creative project timelines and content creation and deployment
Maintain and grow the current two-step Ecommerce channel (i.e., Amazon, Lowes.com, TheHomeDepot.com, etc.)
Create and execute the strategy for new direct to consumer Ecommerce channel
Utilize analytics gathered from a variety of sources to optimize content
Work to ensure regular SEO and PPE performance is monitored and filly optimized
Develop and drive Digital Marketing strategies
Maximize sales and profit through our E-tail platforms by communicating with numerous audiences across digital platforms
Manage a team of 4-5 individuals
Work collaboratively with other functional departments
Skills / Experience Requirements:
At least 5-years’ experience with Ecommerce with an e-tail partner or an organization that works directly with E-tailers.
Direct to consumer marketing and sales, similar to Shopify
Experience managing large, complex customers
Working knowledge of category marketing, trade marketing and financial management
Strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and computer skills
Comfortable and experienced working at multiple levels within an account(s)
Major consumer products experience a plus
Strong Digital Marketing skills
Educational Requirements:
BA/BA in business, marketing or related field
Work Environment:
Typical office environment
Ability to travel 25% of the time (as environmental conditions allow)
