Quality Control Specialist

SUMMARY

Execute regional QC tasks as directed by the Quality Control Manager. Validate and report compliance with standard operational procedures (SOP).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:


  • Executes regional QC tasks as directed by the Quality Control Manager.
  • Validates and reports compliance with standard operational procedures (SOP).
  • Supports inventory audits and performs causative research.
  • Conducts inventory audits and performs causative research.
  • Works closely with the QCM on quality-related issues.
  • Assist with conducting safety meetings within assigned region.
  • Tracks safety reports and documentation.
  • Assists with implementation of QC procedures.
  • Reports quality-related issues.
  • Supports customer standards and consolidated metrics.
  • Assist with Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) efforts.
  • Manages and oversees quality control at respective locations.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Supervise/Manager a department and have authority over hiring/firing/performance decisions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Two years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Must have strong attention to detail and be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong data management skills
  • Working knowledge of consolidating and reporting metrics

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work will be performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
