IHG Army Hotels Fort Leonard Wood is currently hiring for a full-time Houseperson in our Maintenance department.  The starting rate of pay for this position is $13.30 per hour.

Your day to day

This position has overall responsibility for assisting the maintenance department with tasks such as:  delivery of furniture, mattresses and supplies to all areas of the hotel.  Shampooing carpets and other public areas on assigned floors.  Duties also include power washing, painting and escorting contractors in various areas of the hotel.  You will monitor and control supplies, minimize waste within all areas of maintenance, collect items for recycling and help in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

This job requires ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds and pushing and/or pulling, frequently standing up and moving about the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling and going up/down stairs.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (weekends/holidays)


• Must be at least 21 years of age or older


• Must have a valid driver's license


• Excellent Customer Service Skills


• Must be able to enter a federal military installation


• Must be reliable


• Must be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
