Responsibilities






















































Continuous Improvement- Projects
Support Capital Projects, Departmental & Company Initiatives (Sanitation, Animal Welfare, Micro Investigations etc.)- ADKAR Team 30%
Participate and provide support as needed for Internal Audits and respond to post-audit/program findings- corrective actions (i.e. update forms) in support of Food Safety & Quality programs.
Work closely with plant teams to proactively seek out and implement process improvements.
Lead Resource for challenge studies and projects within the department (i.e. SQF Prep, Plant Clean-Up, Validation Studies etc.).
Conduct audits and assessments on the Food Safety and Quality system.
Update and communicate Food Safety and Quality changes to Programs/Policies/SOPs
PIR Implementation Checklists and Sample Forms- Monitor adherence to change management requests and implementation.
Update and Create departmental training SOP's/Process Manuals etc.
Training/Continuous Improvements
Create, Update, Revise Trainings related to FSQA Topics (i.e. SOPs,SSOPs,CCPs, GMPs, QACCP etc..) 30%
Maintain Training Register/Schedule for department and build training "track" for team
Provide FSQA Trainings to CFG Team- Ops/Trades/FSQA
Developing new and revising as needed the training tools for department- recommend outside training vendors and resources to stay current with industry standards
Ensure any SQF/HACCP/QACCP/PV trainings are properly executed upon & amongst team members
Train all FSQA team members to use Learning Management System; provides and instructs others on its functionality and reporting capability
Find gaps and resolve inconsistencies in training requirements for the department
Data Analysis
Track / Trend KPIs in FSQA drive improvement. 30%
Assess data to drive improvements-consistently review and make recommendations for departmental performance management goals and KPI's
Date Entry and Maintenance - Verification & Validation
Team CFG
Attend FSQA team meetings. 10%
Ability to understand FSQA and Ops requirements within established scope and clearly translate them to the floor
Provide training materials for internal and external partners as needed
Proficient for Electronic Platforms for the Department (Trace Gains, SAP, Manage Engine)
Provide area support and troubleshooting resources for FSQA team
Ability to lead cross functional teams within or outside the department to support business need- Tactical on the Floor Support & Flex into roles








Required Skills:

Strong MS Excel, Work, Outlook and other basic computer skills.
The ability to work, occasionally across shifts and cross-functionally with other teams/departments- Some Weekends and Off Shifts- as Requested
Presentation skills to multi level audience within the organization

Qualifications

Position Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability and willingness to recognize and respond to new concepts
* Excellent written/verbal communication/presentation skills
* Multi-task oriented and a team player
* Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where change and growth are part of the culture
* Must possess a Quality Attitude
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as it pertains to FSQA documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
