Support global transportation and brokerage sales efforts by working with regional field, world-wide account managers (wwam), and international sales executives within all FedEx sales organizations to reduce corrupted sales time. Proactively support customers' needs and provide a resource for problem resolution when necessary. Act as a liaison between sales and all other departments within FedEx Trade Networks to contribute to customer retention and new sales.


Revenue attainment support; activities will help support the revenue growth for new and existing customers. Provides support for accounts which are larger revenue opportunities. Prepare transportation quotes for new business opportunities for FedEx services sales teams primarily and FedEx Trade Networks sales teams secondarily. Also support customers acquired by this team historically, as needed. Collaborate with sales, domestic and offshore operations, and regional service providers to evaluate opportunities and assist in problem resolution. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers; solicit feedback from customers and search for ways to increase customer satisfaction. Assume responsibility for creating realistic customer expectations and timelines, as well as ensure problems are resolved or elevated appropriately. Coordinate pricing processes for customer spot quotes, rfq, rfp. Engage appropriate operations teams or cpd to provide competitive pricing, with the goal of increasing FedEx trade network-s customer base. Develop effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, sales, gateway, product, operations, and overseas offices and agents. Maintain extensive, detailed reporting to allow analysis of business close rates, pricing competitiveness, quote turnaround times and market feedback. Assist with implementation of new accounts. Work with local or gateway operations teams to ensure that new customer transition and transportation process is handled appropriately and expeditiously. Create records, record opportunities, sales calls & results in the FedEx Trade Networks salesforce tool using documented procedures. Maintain departmental reporting to allow analysis of close ratio by lead source and tracking of call expectations.

Associate's degree or equivalent. 1-2 Years of previous sales or customer service experience. 3-5 Years of experience with international trade services preferred, with an emphasis on freight forwarding, air & ocean transportation, customs brokerage and general movement of international cargo. Very good listening skills in order to identify customer needs. Good communication and presentation skills to offer solutions to customer needs and resolve or appropriately elevate problems. Requires an individual who is self-motivated and works well with minimal supervision to provide strong sales support, maintain detailed reporting, and assist in process improvement analysis. Well established organizational and time management skills are necessary to reduce corrupted selling time. Strong self-confidence is necessary to develop relationships in a highly competitive and price sensitive environment. Ability to multi-task. Bi-lingual preferred.
