IHG Army Hotels Fort Leonard Wood is currently hiring for a full-time Laundry Attendant in our Housekeeping department.  The starting rate of pay for this position is $13.00 per hour.

Your day to day

This position has overall responsibility for cleaning and storing linens in a timely, organized manner for the hotel.  This includes but is not limited to:  receiving soiled linens, sorting all articles by kind, color and degree of soil, operating washers/dryers, folding/storing clean linens.  You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the laundry areas and other duties as assigned.

What we need from you

This position requires the ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds, pushing and/or pulling heavy objects up to approximately 400 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling and standing on feet for long periods of time.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (weekends/holidays)


• Must have excellent hospitality skills


• Good communication skills


• Be able to work in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment


• Must be able to gain entry on Federal Military Installation
