Bunge in Bellevue OH is currentlylookingtohire a Vibration Technician. The successful candidate will beself-motivated with solid interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, good judgment and decision-making abilities with desire to get job done correctly and have the ability to take directionto work effectively in a diverse working team-oriented environment.
Essential Functions:
- Completion of mandatory training: Mobius Level 1 Vibration and Level 2 Vibration Class
- Cross-training in 3 Technology based fields (Ultrasonic, Oil Analysis, IR/NDT Analysis)
- Completion of Vibration Analysis PdM routes (Monthly, Semi Annually, Annually)
- Assistance REM in developing/modifying routes, and interpreting data gathered
- Read & understand blueprints & manuals, capture data, document findings, maintain databases/routes, trend data, interpret results
- Responsible for maintenance needs and repairs of plant equipment.
- Operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Perform welding & pipefitting work, preventive/predictive maintenance activities
- Maintain organized, detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
- Always work in a safe manner, following all safety rules and procedures and providesafety guidance and a good safety example to other employees
- Other duties as assigned
Required skills/experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with complex mechanical systems.
- Must be flexible to work 8 or 12 hour shifts, (possible nights) with mandatory overtime
- Willingness to be "On Call" for nights and weekends, taking after-hours calls from management
- Ability to identify root cause of problems, work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work at varying heights required
- Willingness to travel for training and re-certification
- Computer skills and knowledge of software as they apply to vibration are preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
