Execute a single large strategic project, platform change or multiple smaller projects. Lead a multi-functional team through the new product development process, taking project(s) from concept through production launch and post-launch review. Develop, maintain, and track program plans that identify project scope, resources, schedules with risk based buffer and contingencies, budgets, product costs, product specifications & requirements leading to successful project outcomes. Communicate effectively with all functions: Commercial, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality.

Major Responsibilities:

• Drive and direct the project team to accomplish the project goals and objectives.
• Assess project risks and determine mitigation plans.
• Conduct regular core team and function meetings, assign and execute work activities and track progress.
• Coordinate with engineering, sourcing and manufacturing to meet project financial goals and timeline.
• Identify and improve project team interactions through implementation of project management techniques.
• Conduct formal program reviews and regular pulse updates with business leadership.
• Main point of contact for internal and external customers for NPD Projects.
• Travel: Some travel to manufacturing, supplier and customer locations may be required,
  Language: Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  
  

• Bachelor of Science degree
• Demonstrated organization skills and working knowledge of the Regal NPD or other stage gate based NPD process
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong relationship and team-building skills
• Individual must be proactive, high energy and have strong problem solving skills
• 3-5 years project management experience, preferably in new product development
• Green Belt trained
