Reporting to the Respiratory Manager, the Supervisor has many responsibilities. As a Senior Respiratory Therapist, this position will review and evaluate all pertinent and existing data in patient record; modify therapeutic techniques based on patient response; initiate and update respiratory care plan for all patients per department policy and procedure Leadership. The Supervisor will also advise providers on appropriate respiratory care procedures and techniques for individual patient care; recommend, conduct and document prescribed therapeutic procedures; coach, mentor and train new staff. This role is to manage all equipment and select, assemble and check respiratory care equipment for proper function, operation and cleanliness.
