Are you interested in a leadership position that enables you to lead production as well as mentor and develop team members? This position may be for you. The responsibilities of the Aluminum Service Area Coordinator are as follows:


  • Manage production operations and participate in projects in other production areas

  • Supervise crew leaders and hourly employees

  • Lead the change to a culture of individual accountability

  • Eliminate waste, improve customer delivery performance, and increase productivity while reducing cost, inventory, and production center cycle time

  • Work to achieve an incident-free workplace; improve safety systems and employee accountability to ensure achievement of safety goals

  • Maintain process management and quality systems to ensure production is defect-free

About you:

  • 5+ years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for labor issues, preferably in a union environment

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

  • Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, ISO, Six Sigma is a plus, and a working knowledge of the aluminum industry is desired

Preferred Qualifications


  • BS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other 4-year technical degree (EET or MET)

  • Working knowledge of ABS concepts and their application
