We have an immediate opportunity for anAssembler to join us at our diverse team in Easley, SC. The Assemblerwill be responsible for the assembly process in the newCNHassembly cell from set-up to testing.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Load and unload valves into assembly fixtures.
Transport valves toworkstations.
Retrieve information from computer on assembly instructions.
Operate a label stamping machine.
Use assembly drawings to build required parts according to orders.
Maintain minimum production levels.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Notify supervisor of shortages of assembly supplies.
Comprehend and execute instructions from engineering blueprints, routings, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders.
Use assembly/torque tools.May analyze defective valves and repair to conforming specifications.
Retrieve replacement parts from stockroom. Install and remove bubble test fittings.
Complete accompanying paperwork for assembly operations.
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
High School education or GED equivalency
Must have basic math skills
Must be able to work standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
Must have good motor skills
Must be able to read and write legibly
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone)
Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)
Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics
Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques
Customer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are necessary traits
Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements
