Sales Order Initializer, Customer Service, Sales & Marketing
As a Sales Order Initializer, Customer Service, Sales & Marketing at Cleveland Cliffs Steel in East Chicago, IN, you will be part of a team making steel that goes into products that are visible all around you. The Sales Order Initializer position is a key role in the processing of customer purchase orders. This entry level position provides education on Cleveland Cliffs customers, products, systems, and processes from which to develop an understanding of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Process high-volumes of orders and revisions through a web-based application which interfaces with SAP and other integrated systems.
- Review, categorize, prepare each incoming document to determine what action is needed and then electronically process it.
- Develop knowledge of internal business processes and systems.
- Possess a working knowledge of plant processes, product characteristics, and systems requirements.
- Build strong relationships with internal customers.
- Manage own workload and proactively prepare workload for team to meet metrics.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years relevant work experience or bachelor's degree
- Working knowledge ofcomputersand Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Personal initiative
- Strong team player
- Strong organizational skills
- Effectively communicates with team internally and externally.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3.0 GPA
- Knowledge in SAP
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams
