Job Description:

Job Purpose/Overview:

• The Storeroom Coordinator's primary responsibilities consist of managing the maintenance storeroom to ensure all the parts that should be there are present and accounted for. They will also be responsible for receiving all non-production related shipments into the building, receiving them in our ERP system and notifying individuals of their arrival and location. The Storeroom Coordinator will also be the back-up for the Purchasing Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage the MSE Storeroom Management System
• Receives orders into the factory to ensure all goods have been properly received per the purchase order
• Completes the receiving portion of all POs generated from the Purchasing Coordinator
• Responsible for the management of 5S and cleanliness of the storeroom and receiving area
• Diligently works to understand deficiencies in the storeroom and actions against them to close gaps
• Completes the cycle counts and reports on the results and actions to close the gaps
• Train as a back-up to the Purchasing Coordinator
• Orders for parts that fall under the minimum quantity level identified in the CMMS
• Kits parts that are requested for jobs requested by planners
• Other duties as assigned
Complexity of Work:
• Must learn to operate material handling equipment
• Adherence to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel toed safety shoes and other PPE's as required
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a positive team-oriented environment with limited supervision
• Must have the ability to comprehend and accurately process paperwork in accordance with policies and procedures
• Familiarity with Microsoft office products, general computer skills desired
• Flexibility/adaptability coupled with good multi-tasking skills

Physical Requirements:
• Typical physical demands require full body motion including the ability to perform work while bending, and stooping
• Typically required lifting and carrying parts and/or equipment weighing 25-80lbs.

Context and Scope

• MSE Storeroom Management is the playbook and the storeroom should function as a service organization. The Storeroom Coordinator should be working with the Technical Team to identify opportunities to make the storeroom better supply parts and resources to increase efficiency of the Technical Team.

Education & Professional Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Microsoft Office proficient

Knowledge & Experience

• 1 - 2 years related experience preferred
