About the role






The Senior Manager is responsible for AP Safety and Security Programs and Compliance for Gap Inc. This role will be responsible for creating the conditions of success for Gap Inc facilities to operate a safe working and shopping environment for customers and employees. The role manages and influences various programs, communications, and teams in Gap Inc. to help deliver Safe Retailing. The role leads a support team whom monitors, tracks and communicates government mandates, restrictions and operational needs to operate at the highest level of commerce. It will be responsible for enterprise AP Safety policies/programs, and response efforts primarily focused for Gap Inc. It will act as subject matter expert in the modification of existing programs as well as the development of new programs, communications, practices, routines and disciplines required to successfully deliver compliance. This role ensures a strong and consistent operational environment in our stores through organization, efficiency, customer focus and profitability. This role is responsible for supporting various business partners and facilities ability to conduct business in compliance with our company strategies by focusing on engaging educational tools, resources, program maintenance and coordination of HQ support. They will partner with departments and leadership throughout the organization to drive compliance standards through the customer and employee experience while also evaluating profitability and productivity through data analysis. The role is required to establish and maintain close coordination with HR, Risk, Legal, Government Affairs, Corp BCP, SSO, ON and Specialty Field AP.












  • Develop and Influence






    Gap Inc. AP Operational and Safety response programs and communications






    in partnership with SSO,






    Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Business Continuity Planning initiatives to






    ensure flawless execution through effective communication, details and timing to Gap Inc. Facilities.













  • Manage and Maintain Policies and Procedures






    and communicate updates to Business Partners, Store Operations, HQ Business Partners and Field Leaders.













  • Develop and Influence






    communications associated with AP Compliance, AP Safety Operations work centers.













  • Manage, Monitor and Coordinate





    Government Mandates and Restrictions to ensure Gap Inc. facilities are in compliance and operate at highest level of commerce






    across all facilities.













  • Analyzes






    opportunities, drives results and measures the success of AP initiatives at Gap Inc.













  • Collaborate






    with Field and HQ teams to determine opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions within the brand store environment.













  • Maintains working global knowledge






    of competitor practices; provides benchmarking and key insights.
