About this role



What will you be responsible for?

Support the development of global Technical Training standards and content. Responsible for working with subject matter specialists on the development and delivery of training programs for their assigned discipline(s). Define and lead global calendars and assign resources. Lead the training content on the Learning Management System (LMS).

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:


1)We assist in maintaining global training standards


  • We resolve appropriate training curricula, content, frequency, and delivery method.

  • We develop delivery method standards and tracking methods.

  • We work with sites to incorporate any local nuances and maintain compliance.

  • We help maintain standards and certifications for Global Trainers.

2)We create and maintain global standardized training material


  • We identify standard methodology learning methods. 

  • We work with subject matter specialists to ensure SOPs and other required documentation of content is developed and maintained

  • We create and maintain training material (incorporating local laws as needed)

  • We coordinate instructional design for all training materials, including but not limited to Training Session Plan, PowerPoint presentation or e-learning, Participant Guide, Facilitator Guide, Assessment tool, and eLearning content creation

  • We coordinate translation of all training materials

  • We coordinate Q&A for translated materials

  • We create trainer’s evaluation forms for live and digital programs

  • We consolidate the trainer’s feedback and evaluate improvement opportunities for adoption and implementation.

  • We oversee the training document controls by identifying updates and changes needed.

  • We collaborate closely with SME’s for content review and approval.

  • We support the development of a continuous improvement culture.

  • We record training ta and produce reports to analyze compliance trends, anticipate risks and improvement opportunities.

  • We supervise changes in statutory requirements or industry trends to update standards and/or content accordingly.

3)We lead and supervise staff 


  • We lead Global trainers - to be assigned according to the needs of the site/region and the global training calendar.

  • We develop communities of practice around subject areas; establish a collaborative, global team to promote the exchange of ideas and improvement in the quality of training

4)We perform technical Training Learning Management System


  • We ensure site compliance with tracking and maintaining data based on established standards

  • We produce relevant critical metrics reports and anticipate potential risks of non-compliance

  • we supervise improvements

  • We assist users with troubleshooting

  • We support areas that need reports for different purposes, (internal audit, H&S, security, etc.)

5)We lead and ensure training execution 


  • We audit sites on the appropriate execution of programs.

  • We assist sites with advice, standard methodologies, and suggestions.

  • We coordinate global tender for external providers (training services, equipment, materials)

  • We lead all aspects of global planning and scheduling.

  • We record training data and produce reports to analyze.

Knowledge:


  • Bachelor’s degree and related experience.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 4 – 6 years experience in training roles, developing or delivering training. Instructional design, ideally in operational or technical areas.

  • Experience leading directly or indirectly training teams coordinating consistency and quality

  • Some Health & Safety experience preferred.
