Job Description:

Overall Purpose: This career step requires intermediate level experience. Responsible for the performance of any/all functions involved in the quality assurance and test execution for new and existing applications and interfaces.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: seeking quality assurance tester with strong communications skills, that will use their experience and knowledge of testing phases and approaches, including functional, regression, integration and end-to-end, to vet production grade code. Candidate should have experience with automation and familiarity with tools like QTP, Selenium or other automation scripting technologies. Candidate will also have experience in scripting with basic knowledge of programming languages for developing and writing simple scripts for testing efficiency and repeatability. Ideal candidate will be proactive with strong problem-solving skills that serve them in testing software, identification of bugs, and initiative to proactively create tickets for issues. Must be familiar working in collaborative environment and with working with a project manager/scrum master.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Knowledge in Big Data and Cloud technologies (HADOOP, Azure, SNOWFLAKE, SPARK, HIVE, SCALA etc..).
  • Experience with writing SQL queries
  • Experience with Unix/Linux, Python and/or Shell scripting
  • Experience with working in a team following Agile software development practices

Nice to have Skills:( Not Mandatory)

  • Experience in Ni-Fi, Azure, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 2 (ADLSg2)
  • Familiarity in telecom architecture and protocols for LTE-EPC, 3G networks

Job Contribution: Intermediate level technical professional.

Education: Preferred Bachelors of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or Engineering; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.

Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role
