Better requires process, discipline, and simplification



We'll be looking to you to own the successful end to end delivery of complex IT projects through disciplined and accepted Western Union processes for both Waterfall and Agile Projects. You will work collaboratively with the PMO Capacity Management team to assign project resources. To be successful, this will require the balancing of schedules, scope, and budget with project sponsors, business partners, vendors and service providers. Ongoing communication is critical including reporting of tasks, deliverables, budgets, and escalation of risks and issues.




You will support IT teams wanting to transition to or continue with Agile using Scrum and/or Kanban methods. This role will facilitate all Scrum related activities including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Retrospective, Sprint Review and refinement activities. You will provide coaching for the Product Owner and team to ensure the product backlog is groomed to satisfy the Sponsor's expectations, and develop full scale release plans in an Agile framework.




You will also lead all phases of Waterfall projects, from Analysis & Design through Deployment, including business and system requirements, planning, scoping, development, testing, release planning and implementation.



For this role, we'd like you to have your
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, along with Scrum Master certification (CSM). Along with 5+ years of technology experience including requirements management, analysis and design. You must be proficient in Excel, MS Teams, and other Microsoft technologies (Word, PowerPoint, Project). TFS, JIRA and MS CRM are also preferred.

Annual base salary gross: $ 81,204.01 - 120,000



The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
