Honeywell is actively recruiting a Senior Materials Management Analyst to join our team in Muncie, IN.

As a Sr. Materials Management Analyst within our Honeywell Thermal Solutions business; You will become part our Centralized Planning Organization. It is the Central Planning teams' mission is to ensure planning of our factories and raw materials are done so in a way that delights our customers with best in class performance. You will be empowered to define and improve strategic planning activities of Inventory goods and services from suppliers. You will analyze, optimize and replenish inventory levels to meet the factories required stocking levels. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet customer needs and validate MRP signals to maintain the best possible inventory levels. You will have the opportunity to apply, develop and communicate new ways of driving materials planning excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives the Implementation of the site RM PFEP Processes
  • Sets Stocking and Replenishment Strategies Push vs Pull to support Maximum Service with Minimum Inventories to meet AOP
  • Own and Ensuring material master accuracy
  • Cycle Count & Inventory Record Accuracy
  • Ensuring materials plan is accurate and current
  • Define and maintain Quota arrangements/Multiple sourced items
  • Identify MOQ/EOQ/Lot sizes outside of entitlement and working with Strategic Sourcing to resolve
  • Work closely with Commodity management to address supply availability for constrained commodities and provide recommended solutions
  • Active participant in standard transition processes
  • Identify and solve problems in and out of the immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet supply requirements
  • Lead/participate continuous improvement projects/kaizens
  • Continuously improve material management processes to drive better business results
  • Support clients to solve escalations and achieve metrics
  • Identify material related issues and work with procurement to resolve material constraints
  • Coordinate engineering change activities with procurement and/or Honeywell sites

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8 years' experience in purchasing / supply chain
  • Minimum 6 years' operational buying/planning experience
  • Minimum 6 years' experience and expertise with MRP/ERP Systems

  • Influencing/Communication Skills: Possess the ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbal and written, including meeting facilitation and presentations
  • Inventory/Supply/Production/Materials Planning Certification
  • Ability to work with remote/virtual teams
  • Detail oriented problem solver with strong organizational skills and the ability to resolve conflict and manage multiple priorities.
  • Direct experience buying materials for production operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, etc.)
    Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse Tools (Tableau, etc.), Kinaxis Rapid Response or other planning software
