Job Description:

The Carlyle Group seeks to hire a Vice President in our Global Private Equity Investor Relations group. The VP will provide critical support to the Relationship Managers and be involved in fundraising and investor support, focusing in Infrastructure activity. The VP will provide input on sales strategy for designated clients, advise on growth strategies for new products, and develop segment specific fundraising strategies.

Key Duties/
Responsibilities


The Vice President will be a key member of the Global Private Equity Investor Relations group. Key responsibilities may include:

  • Support Relationship Managers during fundraising with fund or product expertise in Infrastructure

  • Manage existing investors, including responding to requests and providing updates

  • Provide expertise on funds / products throughout lifecycle; act as product spokesperson

  • Ensure answers to clients are accurate, consistent, and appropriate

  • Participate in client pitching to help sell fund / product, platform and Carlyle

  • Enable successful fundraises by providing support, expertise, and leverage to Relationship Managers

  • Enhance and standardize investor experience by providing fund expertise within the IR segment to field fund, firm, and other sophisticated questions or requests

  • Build collaborative and mutually productive relationships with CFO & Deal Teams

  • Ensure success and development of Product Specialists within the team
