Your Role
The Facilities Assistant is a member of the Facilities/Office Services Team andis responsible formaintainingthe aesthetic appearance andcleanlinessof a high-end office environment including restrooms,common areas, meeting rooms and pantries.
What You Will Do
Providea full range of office maintenance for an office of 300 + people on 3 floors
Conference Rooms & Meeting Areas - Preparation and Clean Up in between meetings:
Ensureconference room tables, dry-erase white boards and walls are clean and, paper and other materials put away; white boards are wiped clean; pins and work product removed fromwalls.
Chairs are pushed in/lined up
Office supplies on hand - pens/paper areneatly arranged
Technology components are neat and orderly, wires stowed safely
General OfficeAppearance
Responsible for keeping assigned areas, such as reception,common areas,pantriesand restrooms in a clean and orderly conditionat all times
Greet all incoming clients/vendors and ensure they are directed to theappropriate meetingplacein a timely manner
Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, cleanblindsand draperies)
Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)
Light maintenance (replace light bulbs, restock supply cabinet/room)
Restroom maintenance (empty trash, restock products, cleanglass/mirrors/countersand partitions)
Your Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in facilities maintenance
Experience at a mid tolarge sizecompany
Ability to be a team player
Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
Ability to step in toassistbeyond general responsibilities
Ability to take initiative and be proactive vs. reactive
Ability to work 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. andadditionalhours as necessary
Ability to lift 35+lbs.
