PFM

Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management (GS PFM) specializes in creating personalized wealth management plans for affluent individuals and families. We give clients clarity, confidence and control over their financial decisions. Our dedicated team of advisors across approximately 100 offices throughout the U.S., develops and implements personalized plans tailored to each client's values and life goals. Our advisors offer an investment platform inclusive of products and services offered by Goldman Sachs and other third parties, including private banking and lending offerings. We consider the relationships with our clients a lifelong partnership, a partnership backed by over 150 years of Goldman Sachs providing consistency, perspective and access as our clients' needs evolve.

The PFM product team within CWM is a product organization comprising talented and passionate product managers and designers currently building tools and technologies that are transforming the way our financial advisors and customers do business and service their needs. We create advisor led and customer self-directed wealth management capabilities in a scalable, automated and personalized manner and serve as a think tank that ideates and incubates ideas that have a meaningful impact on our client's financial lives.

Your Impact

We are looking for product managers across levels to join our team and help build out advisor led/ customer self-directed capabilities that serve the needs of high net worth customers. Ideal candidate has past experience in a wealth tech environment, understand the high net worth wealth management space, is data driven, resourceful and detail-oriented with prior experience as a product manager on an agile team.

The candidate should be a self-starter and comfortable dealing with ambiguity, change and being able to collaborate closely with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to make an impact in the expanding offerings that Goldman Sachs provides to its client base. In this role, you will join a team committed to customer obsession, operating at a fast pace to improve and extend multiple product lines across our channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dive deep into the technology from both a product and customer perspective


• Own and shape up product strategy for our growth, investments and engagement programs


• Work alongside design, engineering, marketing, legal, compliance, operations and other teams to build delightful, easy-to-use features that help meet customer's financial, household and lifestyle needs


• Define and deliver a compelling business case and product brief


• Collaborate and communicate with a broad team of cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring all viewpoints are accounted for and that solutions meet all necessary requirements


• Use data, user research and a test and learn approach to inform decisions and continually optimize products


• Collaborate with other product managers and designers to ensure cohesiveness of the overall advisor and customer experience


• Own and prioritize a product backlog-using data to make informed tradeoffs between new feature development, platform investment and user issues/feedback

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS in computer science, engineering, math, finance or economics.


• 5+ years of technical product management or similar experience


• Proven success in delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment


• Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills


• Proficient with web services, online technologies, and user interface design


• Proficient in major design, development and project management applications (i.e., Sketch, Confluence, Jira, etc.)


• Aptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and processes, documenting workflows and edge cases, and communicating solutions with clarity


• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on teamwork

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA with 3-8 years' product management experience in a fast paced, agile product development environment


• Experience with high net worth wealth management products and solutions (Investment management, banking, lending, insurance etc.)


• Excellent attention to detail and communication / presentation skills
