Position Summary:

Pentair is currently seeking a Warehouse Technician to to prepare incoming product, stock, pick and pack. In this role, the Warehouse Technician will be responsible forprocesses in the operations chain, including safety, quality, and the movement of materials and products throughout the warehouse. Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Reads production tickets, customers order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed

  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code

  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or other stock items and distributes items to appropriate location

  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or cart, or moves orders to packing station or shipping department

  • Count, weigh, measure, or examine packaging and contents of items for conformance to company packing specifications

  • Prepares invoices, dates of shipment, bills of lading and lists weight and serial numbers of items sold and shipping labels.

  • Perform any other duty or assignment as may be assigned from time to time by the manager

Skills and Experience Requirements:


  • High school diploma

  • 1 year warehouse experience

  • Forklift experience highly preferred

  • Basic math skills

  • Understanding of inventory transactions and movement through the system.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems for the review of inventory transactions,

  • Data entry experience

Physical Demands

Job requires the ability to move about within the facility in the facilitation of work teams, problem solving, and communication with employees and management. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include; close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.

Work Environment

Job is performed indoors but may vary within specific departments as assigned. Frequently involves working in areas with noise levels exceed 85 dBa requiring use of hearing protection. May involve working in extreme temperature and/or where outdoor activities are involved and may also involve limited contact with outside customers and suppliers as needed.
