IES Commercial, Inc. - Commercial & Industrial Division, seeking full timeLineman Foremanin the Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and South Dakota areas.
Supervises Linemen, Helper/Apprentice Linemen and other craft workers assigned to projects.
Interprets company policies to employees, enforcing safety regulations and proper care of tools and equipment.
Enforces and communicates all aspects of construction: safety, technology, equipment, methods, company policies, procedures, and standards.
Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.
Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
Travel is required.
Minimum 15 years' recent experience working in transmission and/or distribution power line construction.
Successful completion of an accredited Journeyman Lineman program or considered a documented Journeyman Lineman through verifiable experience.
Supervisory experience in a power line construction environment preferred.
High School Diploma/GED.
OSHA 30 orability to obtain.
Ability to read/write/spell/compute basic math.
Ability to work in special environments or special shift hours/mandatory OT.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer)drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.
