Quality Engineer


Hebron, Kentucky

We are looking for people who are keen to try something new:


1. Prepare, review and improve documentation for inspection/testing procedures and specifications, ensuring product and process standards and specifications are in place.
2. Analyze/investigate quality issues, ensure corrective actions are taken and report findings are reported.
3. Carry out Product/Process audits to ensure product quality is in alignment with specified requirements.
4. Carry out studies on product quality in order to identify internal deviations and provide a comparison to competitor products.
5. Coordinate calibration activities in collaboration with maintenance and operation team.
6. Evaluate the customer complaints and prepare reports.
7. Prepare statistical process control charts and report deviations.
8. Carry out CAPA in collaboration with ops team. (8D CAPA, QRQC)
9. Experienced with APQP, PFMEA.
10. Carry out qualification and validation. (TQ & OR)
11. Familiar with LMS (DVI, PCS)
12. Other tasks as required.


You are:


* B.SC in Engineering.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing (preferably Medical)
* Experience with process and product evaluation techniques that can be applied in the ophthalmic industry is required
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and apply quality parameters
* Proficiency with computer applications, especially Microsoft Office and Minitab.
* Inspection / Mechanical / Precision Engineering / Optics
* Experience in troubleshooting methods & problem analysis
* Experience in Auditing is an asset.
