Position Summary



The Aerospace Account Manager will manage existing Commercial Aerospace account responsibilities with focus on continued growth and identifying new business opportunities with the same accounts. Responsibility for both Enidine and Aerospace Controls accounts including finding and developing business, organizing and managing sound proposal preparation, pricing strategy and account management. Make frequent direct sales calls to drive growth, retention and profitability and optimize market penetration.

Essential Responsibilities


  • Prioritize and plan to drive growth for assigned accounts and monitor progress.
  • Penetration of new accounts to drive growth and profitability.
  • Provide an Annual/Quarterly/Monthly Sales Plan/Forecast to support business growth, operating budget and strategic planning objectives.
  • Remain cognizant of all pertinent competitive activities worldwide, including technical developments and market share data.
  • Gain competitive product/pricing strategies and information
  • Produce effective logistic and time planning of sales activities, travel planning, and prioritizing. Produce effective verbal and written communication for activities and sales reports, customer correspondence, etc.
  • Forge effective communication and working relationships with Inside Sales team necessary to manage and grow customer base.
  • Direct, coordinate and expedite factory resources necessary to meet customer requirements.
  • Assist with advertising and sales promotion programs. Assist in trade shows and other industry activities.
  • Proactively seek, identify and recommend potential teaming and acquisition targets, in conjunction with the leadership team.
  • Effectively utilize ERP Systems as well as basic understanding of business software programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
  • Manage your account activity via company's CRM system.


Position Requirements


  • Working understanding of the Commercial Aerospace industry.
  • Strategic alliances with several key contacts in the Aerospace marketplace.
  • Sales experience working directly with Manufacturers Representatives desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BSME, BSEE or BSAE is helpful) with 4+ years aerospace technical selling experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and global employees, including the ability to motivate, energize, and enhance performance of teammates.
  • Polished presentation and communication skills
  • Significant initiative and ability to develop, implement, and achieve ambitious stretch goals.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
