Job Description:

Responsible for conducting, processing, and assisting the Disability and Waiver of Premium claims organization in providing support to through existing processes within the Claims Support Unit/ Claims Completion unit. This function requires:


  • Providing excellent customer service.

  • Documenting claim information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Understanding and applying general concepts for processes within the Claims Support unit.

  • Processing of incoming medical records.

  • Maintain an organized data based of claims related materials.

  • A detail-oriented focus and exceptional time management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • The ability to work unsupervised and interact with stakeholders at all levels

  • The ability to manage multiple work assignments at the same time and deliver to deadlines

  • A commitment to support a work environment that fosters Diversity and Inclusion.

  • Additional project work may also be assigned, as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to review and identify key information needed for Disability claims and/or Waiver of Premium claims.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Well organized and capable of responding to shifting priorities

  • Ability to learn a variety of processes and procedures and adapt to meet capacity needs

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook

  • Additional project work may also be assigned, as needed.

**This position is expected to relocate to Newark, NJ from Roseland, NJ
