RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Design and develop new features within the existing Global Markets Client Relationship Management application. This includes: Working on complex technical and design challenges; Writing and implementing efficient code; Code reviews; and Testing and deploying software into a production environment. Work with end-users and product managers to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Provide front-line application support to end-users on a rotation basis.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline field. Minimum five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Designing and developing Java based applications within a commercial environment. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Developing highly scalable and available Restful and SOAP web services using JAX WS 2.0, XML and Json; developing MVC based web applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks including but not limited to React, Angular, or JQuery; utilizing JVM architecture, memory management, class loading and garbage collections; identifying and solving issues related to performance, concurrency, transactional integrity and security; working with databases including one or more of the following: Oracle, DB2, MongoDB, or Elastic Search to persist and query data; working with iterative and test driven development (TDD) and following best practices including domain-driven design, code reviews, continuous integration and design patterns; and working across all aspects of the SDLC, including but not limited to, working with product managers to influence technical direction and mentoring peers.
