Job Description

Torch Technologies is currently seeking multiple Software Engineers to support the verification of flight software integrated into All-digital simulations (ADS) and processor-in-the-loop (PIL)simulations. The candidate will be part of a teamperforming analysis onMDA Targets for Pre-Flight, Post-Flight Reconstruction and special events. A Bachelor's Degree in engineering or other related technical field and 0+ years' experience in missile defense system analysis is required.

Qualified applicants will have excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills and take a proactive role to assure that responsibilities are completed on or ahead of schedule. The candidate must be able to work within a collaborative environment composed of Governmentand Supporting Contractor personnel.

Position requires that candidate possess a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Review flight software requirements for flow down to ADS and PIL teams.


• Ensure the integration of vendor flight software into Six Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) based All-Digital-Simulation (ADS) models and Processor-In-the-Loop (PIL) test bed architectures.


• Conduct analysisand verification of vendor provided software and developed integration code to support formal independent performance assessments and test execution.


• Conduct engineering analysis by reading and interpreting software specifications, interface specifications, system specifications, and performance specifications.


• Support a configuration managed software environment.


• Attend external meetings with the customer and vendors.


• Mentor team members and be willing to be mentored by others.


• Works independently under general direction.

Job Requirements

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelors (Masters preferred) in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.


• 0-5years' experience.


• Experience in systems engineering, systems analysis, component analysis, or requirements analysis.


• Experience evaluating and analyzing data to evaluate systems and performance.


• Excellent written and verbal skills.


• Proficiency with MSOffice (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).


• DOD Secret Security Clearance.


• Experience with analysis of ADS and PIL data.


• Matlab andPython programming skills.
