LMI is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to support the development of infrastructure network installation projects. The position will be located at the client site in Ft. Belvoir, VA with the ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

    Developing Government - owned system-of-systems utilizing open architecture and maximizing interoperability, leverage, and the ability to source systems functionality from multiple technology providers
  • Assist in identifying and resolving highly complex Cybersecurity/Information

  • Assist in network security implementation, including preparation and oversight of the execution of policies and procedures to ensure the continuous security of project architectures

  • Assurance (IA) problems which are not subject to resolution through conventional methods

  • Perform technical oversight and analysis of contractor approaches, designs, best practices and documentation and review and comment on appropriate Enterprise Architecture diagrams

  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning

  • Provide expert assessments of proposed design measure feasibility

  • Design and implement computer network architects and build data communication networks

  • Attend meetings, working groups, design reviews, and technology discussions

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working with of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)

  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working with complex network engineering environments.

  • Overall experience with the US Army

  • Minimum of 8 years of developing Government-owned system-of-systems architectures and designs

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or in science-related field (Masters in science field may substitute)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required

  • Strong client interaction skills with a demonstrated ability to work with various stakeholders across multiple tasks required

  • Highly organized, systematic and proactive in managing quality and exceeding client expectations within a fast-paced environment

  • CCNP Certification or equivalent is required

  • This position requires an active security clearance at the secret level. Youmust be a US citizen.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:


  • Masters Degree preferred

  • Experience with the Army Acquisition Process

  • Network experience preferred with IT infrastructure and telecommunications.
