Business Administrator, Operations

The Business Administrator, Operations will support our Military Operations Team by providing venue access coordination, inventory management, logistics, reporting, financial analytics, data entry and event coordination to acquire and fulfill Boingo subscribers and properties.


  • Coordinate with venue security organizations for Military Operations resources, including 3rd party vendors, to access various military, airports, or other high-density buildings to perform construction and/or maintenance

  • Serve as Military Operations' venue access/badging administrator.

  • Maintain and update venue resource list in Salesforce (i.e. military base, positional assignments, privacy certifications, etc.)

  • Manage Boingo's 3rd party warehouse and logistics vendor to include financial oversight and escalation support for occasional same-day delivery of equipment for repairs to venue outages.

  • Gather, organize data, and construct several client-facing reoccurring weekly and monthly reports.

  • Act as Military Operations' liaison within Headquarters for any escalation from field employees and/or contractors with our other departments.

  • Invoice validation and/or justification as needed to address Accounting escalations for cost overruns, proper venue, project, maintenance coding, etc.


  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting and/or operations management experience

  • Experience dealing with complicated reporting and data-management requirements.

  • 2 years' experience meeting tight deadlines on several concurrent projects is preferred.

  • Project Coordination or Project Management experience utilizing waterfall-based milestone tracking in the telecommunications construction industries is preferred.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility.

  • Shipping support to include period of prolonged standing and/or lifting of packages up to 25 lbs.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Cost accounting and logistics experience is a plus!

  • Bachelor's degree in either Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Project Management preferred
