Director, Group Strategy

Your Opportunity

As Director in the Group Strategy team at Danfoss Headquarters in Denmark, you will work in close collaboration with the SVP of Group Strategy as well as senior stakeholders across Danfoss to:

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the business and focus on issues ranging from organic growth, go-to-market strategies, customer experience, organizational development, and operational efficiency.


• Provide competitor benchmarking, identify market trends and key industry intelligence, business models, consumer knowledge, and develop global strategic initiatives.


• Realize growth strategies that support continued improvement of the business's overall performance.


• Develop strategic recommendations for improving and evolving the business.


• Drive and lead strategic projects across different areas in close collaboration with functional management, providing sharp problem identification, problem solving and recommendations.


• Develop short- and long-term strategies and business proposals to accelerate profitable growth.


• Prepare management material for Danfoss executive management.

• You are a strong team-player, and you have a proven track record on managing diverse stakeholders successfully.


• You are a strategic thinker, willing to challenge established views with facts and new ideas.


• You identify yourself as a strong communicator, who can justify your views on a strategic direction to senior executives, while standing on your own ground in controversial discussions


• You have led projects and have proven the ability to manage complex processes in the past.


• You developed your strategy toolbox during a 4-5-year stint at a top strategy consulting house.


• You have a master's degree in economics, finance, engineering or similar.
