Pay: From $16.00 per hour and up based on experience

Schedule and Location:
* This position is typically an 8-hour shift from 12pm-10pm. Monday through Friday.
* Flexible overtime schedule when available

Role Responsibilities:
1. Operation and set-up of twister consists of transferring raw cheeses of yarn through twister, which twists the yarn to engineering specifications.
2. Monitor bobbin footage, yarn condition, and tensions.
3. Operation and set-up of yarn braiding machines consists of the physical transfer of full bobbins to braider decks , removal of empty bobbins from braider deck and splicing operations required during transfer.
4. Change over of tooling and gears as necessary to ensure proper dimension.
5. Visual attention must be given to the payoffs, adhesive application, braid pattern, inking, and take ups while braiding.
6. Perform all required quality checks and record all pertinent information to ensure quality standards are met.
7. Responsible for material handling related to the job.
8. All irregularities will be reported to the Shift Supervisor or Leader.
9. Accountable for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continual basis in order to meet plant business objectives.
10. Participate in area and process team activities and projects.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Leader.

* Detail-oriented
* Must be able to accurately and consistently record all measurements with tape measures, calipers and and/or micrometers for quality audit documentation
* Must be competent in basic math and possess analytical skills
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills
* Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent/GED
