Primary Function

Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic components on industrial equipment plant wide. Perform electrical tasks on all equipment and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely manner. General knowledge and ailities to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic andpneumaticequipment. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.The Maintenance Department operates on the Pitman Fixed Schedule System of 12-hour shift 7:30pm - 7:30am

Responsibilities

Employee able to complete repairs without assistance throughout the plant.

Knowledge of machine functions, equipment safety hazards, LOTO, power sources, stored energy, pinch points, etc.

Must be proficient in connecting to, communiating with, and general use of various PLC platforms.

Understanding of control circuitry on all levels, such as burner controls, VFD's, and DC drives.

Competent ability to read electrical blue prints, drawings, and sketches.

Knowledge of NEC code, ability to run conduit both Ridged and EMT.

Must communicate effectively with employees on all levels including supervisory personnel.

Must make logical decisions and perform well under pressure.

Must demonstrate strong customer service support.

Must be a team player.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills via written and oral


• Must be poficient in PC skils such as Micro Soft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and SAP


• Knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD Electrical) a plus

Education

High School Diploma or GEDTrade School Degree in Related Field

Years of Experience

Minimum of 5 years related work experience

Physical Requirements

• Loud noises and limited exposure to dust and fumes.


• Must be able to push/pull up to 75 lbs.


• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe shoes/boots, ear and eye protection.


• Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.


• The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.


• The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.


• The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20pounds overhead and maneuver various parts weighting up to 50 lbs.


• Use of wrenching, impacting, and/or vibrating tools (manual and automatic) is required occasionally for extended periods of time.
