What You'll Do

About this role:The Desktop Support Analyst is primarily responsible for providing end user support of computer hardware and software, Active Directory account access, ShoreTel IP Phones, printers and all other peripheral devices to internal staff. In this function the Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for maintaining all operating system master images for the purpose of repair, updates and new deployments.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide end users with technical support via remote access, phone and Email.

  • Install/upgrade end user software and troubleshoot software issues.

  • Obtain a good understanding of the Precor\Amer Sports environment software (through internal training) and posess the ability to provide software training to clients when needed.

  • Learn the different applications/systems and processes used on a daily basis by the support team. (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Pulse VPN and Windows 10)

  • Provide support on Shoretel and telephony-related applications to end-users

  • Conduct adds/moves and changes related to phones and voicemail

What We're Looking For

In order to be successful in the role, you will bring: Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job, will be considered.

  • BS degree in Information Systems or related field

  • Network + certification a plus

  • MCP certification a plus

  • Mac OSX certification a plus

  • A+ certification a plus

  • 2+ years' experience in a PC\Telecom network environment

  • Technical knowledge of Mac OSX, Windows 8, 10 and Windows Server operating systems

  • 1+ years' SharePoint document management experience

  • Familiarity with Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers

  • Experience configuring local security policy

  • Knowledge of remote management tools (LogMeIn Rescue is a plus)

  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and printer issues

  • Familiar with telecom protocols, SIP, PSTN, PRIs etc.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work toward corporate objectives

  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines, but also have the ability to work with others and obtain cooperation internally and with outside parties

  • Quality of work to include timeliness, completeness and accuracy

  • Solid knowledge of department functions, so that operations run smoothly in manager's absence

  • Ability to provide technical explanations to support issues

  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential to ability to complete all job functions


Normal office conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Weekend and/or after-normal hours work may be necessary.


Light physical effort in an office environment. Some lifting of parts / products may be required in the manufacturing areas.
