Job Summary

The Epilepsy Regional Marketer will develop and lead engagement strategy, attend meetings and collect insights with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in epilepsy in an assigned geography. This position will have additional responsibilities as noted in the essential functions below and aligns with the goal of increasing education and awareness about Eisai product(s) consistent with FDA-approved labeling.

The role will have a dual reporting structure and report into the Regional Sales Director(s) and Director, Marketing.

Essential Functions


  • Shape and continuously evolve the KOL Engagement Plan, including the identification and execution of KOL engagement opportunities that will benefit Eisai. Thought leader identification should include national, regional and emerging leaders.



  • Engage with epilepsy thought leaders to garner insights on treatment landscapes, including the role of Eisai product(s) in treatment, as well as explore opportunities for Eisai to increase medical and patient communities' awareness about consistent with FDA-approved labeling and compliance and legal controls governing patient/caregiver interactions and communications.


    • Distill and regularly present insights and recommendations to marketing, sales, and executive leadership to support the development of brand strategy, messaging and educational initiatives.



  • Help manage our Speakers Bureau (branded and unbranded) as well as experts to engage as consultants when needed


  • Collaborate closely with field sales to identify national, emerging and regional thought leaders.



  • Support the development of national thought leader consultant meetings to inform brand strategic evolution.


    • Participate in feedback meetings, presentations, and discussion decks. Coordinate KOL attendance and program logistics in partnership with planning agency.




  • Work collaboratively withmarketing, field sales andEisai advocacy to assess opportunitieswith advocacy groups to increase patient educationand awarenessof epilepsy.



    • Review field sales exhibit and sponsorship requests.


    • Identify appropriate materials to be used at exhibit and sponsorship events and coordinate coverage of these events with field sales team.




  • Present FDAMA 114 information to qualified audience


  • Remain on the cutting edge of consistent with approved labeling data readouts, medical congress meeting outputs, and podium and symposia presentations. Synthesize outputs and present to marketing, sales and account leadership.


  • All interactions are to be consistent with FDA-approved labeling as well as commercial/promotional compliance, legal and regulatory requirements and guidelines.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree required


  • 10 years + Neurology experience with KOL relationships in epilepsy preferred


  • Self-starter with strong clinical acumen, solutions oriented and can function autonomously.


  • Open, collaborative nature with ability to rapidly integrate and motivate cross-functional team members and stakeholders.


  • High learning agility and able to thrive in a rapidly evolving, complex, fast-paced environment.


  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills as well as emotional intelligence


  • In-depth knowledge of integrated health systems operations within current market environment


  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships


  • Commitment to corporate culture of patient-centricity, innovation, inclusion and compliance.


  • Must successfully complete all company training programs as well as all customer mandated and vendor credentialing requirements.


  • Valid US driver's license in compliance with company standards.


  • Ability to safely and successfully operate a motor vehicle is required.
