WANTED: An experienced Data Management (DM) Specialist with demonstrated capability working within DoD multi-level security acquisition environments. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable working independently and with teams, and possess range and depth of expertise in development and application of DM policies and processes.

Work with a highly accomplished Govt/Contractor Integrated Product Support (IPS) team providing the US Navy customer with DM processing expertise for an ACAT I program.

A week in the life of a Data Management Specialist:
Implement document management solutions with a primary focus on document control, distribution, and knowledge management.
Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure the adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of requested products.
Expedite the review process, signature approval, and release of supplier and internally produced documents as required.
Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with assigned Integrated Product Support (IPS) team personnel and applicable external stakeholders.
Assist in the processes for development and tailoring of Statement of Work (SOW) and DD form 1423 Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents.
Facilitate the review and selection of Data Acquisition citations including Data Item Descriptions (DID) and applicable standards.
Receive and process Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverablesand documentation.
Make use of standard document management tools to register documents and maintain databases used to produce logs, transmittal receipts, and other reports as required.
Continually review and maintain existing data distribution procedures within the Interactive Data Environments (IDE) as applicable for assignments based upon client, project, department, and supplier requirements.
Verify applicable data retention requirements are met by managing document catalogues for long-term archival of data associated with contract closeouts.
Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal, company, and client standards.
Assist with reports and data extraction when needed.
Monitor user interaction with information & data systems and recommend improvements to data access tools and processes (new technologies, procedures, upgrades, etc.).
Coordinate with system administrators to ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses.
Troubleshoot data-related problems and coordinate maintenance or modifications.

3+years of relevant Data Management experience with an Associate's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience.
Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is a must.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.).
Familiarity with modern database, information system, and Interactive Data Environments (IDE) practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Possess an analytical mindset with effective problem-solving skills.
Adept at briefing executives andprogram IPT level leadership.
Proficiency with MS Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel and SharePoint.
Associate's degree in Information Technology or relevant field of study.
Experiencesupporting military aviation logistics & maintenance staff.
Experience working with manufacturing, engineering, and technical staff.
Completion of DAU Continuous Learning Modules (CLM) series for Data Management.
