Primary responsibility is processing and testing of DNA samples. Samples will include routine production samples as well as development and R&D samples. The role requires use of multiple instruments many of which are controlled by a computer interface. Delicate handling and transfer of small samples is required including pipetting small volumes. The role will require processing production samples, conducting tests, experiments and/or problem resolution associated with products or processes/systems.
Must be able to follow techniques and process procedures in operating equipment in a production and quality control lab. Must be able to work with production personnel and scientists and follow directions and communicate well. Must be organized and detailed oriented to coordinate testing and ensure accurate processing and results.
Shift: Day shift Sun- Tue/Wed 4:45AM - 5:15PM PT
