Job Description:

The Manager Clinician Services is responsible for managing a Principal Clinician cohort, overseeing identifying the company clinician needs, selection, training, line management and financial reconciliation.This role will also provide other operational support within the Clinical Trial Services Department.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or related field required.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical trials or research setting or other clinical setting preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience diagnosing and/or treating patients with psychiatric disorders, neurocognition disorders, and/or other study relevant indications preferred.

  • 2 years supervisory experience preferred, including interviewing and candidate selection orSupervisory experience preferred, including interviewing and candidate selection.

  • Fluent in English required, bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills are preferred.

  • Basic understanding of GCP.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage and monitor a team of on-demand clinicians according to company policy, including hiring, contractual and financial obligations.

  • May have direct management of employees, including hiring, development and performance management.

  • Work with the Clinician Science team and Clinician Services leadership, providing input on identifying the need for Clinicians to meet study requirements, including internally or externally sourcing Clinicians.

  • Assist CS team with prioritizing training needs, providing input to trainers on individual training and performance plans.Ensuring that Clinician training and calibration occurs within timeframes.

  • Collaborate with the Clinical Scientist team and the Clinician Services leadership to ensure optimal Clinician utilization, projections, and coverage of assessment needs across studies.

  • Co-developing and implementing training and calibration (T&C) activities, ensuring quality control measures are implemented, analyzing reports, reporting on status of related Clinical Science projects, developing process efficiencies, managing project budgets and timelines.

  • Develop projects related to Clinical Science objectives and, in collaboration with Clinical Scientists, oversee project distribution and completion.

  • Provide input and research topic areas pertinent for future Business Development bids.

  • Meet resource and operational requirements as specified by projects from various departments that relate to the Clinician Services Department.

  • Oversee operational implementation of training and calibration plan requirements and monitor progress.

  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance in meeting training and calibration plans.

  • Oversee/coordinate internal QC of materials, processes and metrics related to the operational implementation of training and calibration.

  • Partner with Human Capital Management in Clinician recruitment process, to ensure that Clinician hiring needs are met according to study requirements and timeline.

  • Work with Human Capital Management and IT to Effectively and efficiently on-board new or returning Clinicians to ensure that they are trained and ready on agreed upon timeline.

  • Partner with Finance and external vendors to monitor and approve financial obligations for Clinicians.

  • Work to process Clinician payments and assist department head with budget management.

  • Manage timesheet reviews, paid time-off approval, and IT challenges which may impact clinicians.

  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental processes as needed.

  • May perform clinician duties if needed.

  • Perform other job duties as determined by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will directly manage a team of contracts.May manage a team of employees.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Domestic and international travel, approximately 10% of the time, including overnight and weekend stays as necessary, consistent with project needs and office location.
